Calendar & Instagram updates
Calendar: saved records. Last successful check: (Berlin). Public sport and federation entries refresh every 15 minutes while the website is open.
Instagram: saved previews. Last successful check: (Berlin). Three posts refresh every minute. A dated fallback is retained during outages.
The official account API is preferred when authorised. The public-profile adapter is a fallback and can be affected by provider changes. Original captions and dates belong to their original posts.
Official JJEU Instagram accountPhotography & image treatment
Original photography: Daniel Tremel / JJEU, through the JJEU Media Hub. Nine photographs have digitally retouched spectator stands. These are adapted illustrations and do not document actual attendance. Athlete portraits and official logos retain their supplied sources. Illustrative photographs do not document every event described on the page.
Brand, language & content information
The supplied JJEU Brand Guidelines 2026 and final vector artwork are the current reference for this website. Maria Charitopoulou’s confirmed website address is maria.charitopoulou@jjeu.eu. Roles, partner listings and federation details retain their published source dates; the Secretariat can confirm later changes.
English is the default website language. The language chooser contains 41 interface variants covering the 37 federation countries. Main-menu and chapter-navigation translations are supplied locally; full-page machine translation depends on browser support or a connected service and is labelled separately. The assistant can answer an explicitly German question in German. Original federation names, third-party posts and official documents retain their source language.
Brand Guidelines 2026Website languages & translation availability
Navigation dictionaries are available in all 41 listed variants. Their coverage includes the principal languages of the current federation countries, with selected co-official and regional languages; it is not an exhaustive minority-language inventory. Native-speaker review of the authored dictionaries is still required. English remains the initial and fallback language; no automatic browser-language switching is used.
No external translation account is configured in this preview. Full-page translation can use the browser Translator API where supported. The optional Google Cloud adapter remains inactive until a server-held credential is configured. Montenegrin, Nynorsk and Romansh require full editorial translation packs; another language is never silently substituted. PDF contents, images containing text, proper federation/person names and original social material retain their source form.

Discipline guide
Adapted from the JJEU App discipline guide, updated 5 September 2026. Use the official rulebooks for competition requirements.
News archive selection
Editorial archive · Selected updates from 8 September 2026. Current Instagram posts appear above.
News sources & update status
Editorial summaries of actual posts in the app’s Instagram news source. Snapshot: 8 September 2026. Read the original posts on the official JJEU Instagram channel. Photographs: Daniel Tremel / JJEU, Heraklion 2026, via the JJEU Media Hub. These illustrative archive photographs do not depict the separate events reported here. These cards are not a continuously synchronised Instagram feed.
Partner sources & status
All five entries are marked active in the JJEU App partner register, inspected 8 September 2026. Categories follow that register; BESST 2.0 project and EU co-funding information follow the app’s Safeguarding page. This does not establish contract end dates.
Competition rules
Checked against the JJIF collection on 8 September 2026. The English rules are authoritative where the JJIF specifies this. Show and Para documents remain listed despite their earlier dates. Event-specific notices should also be checked.
Education sources & access information
Referee coordination: Ralf Pfeifer, General Referee Director, confirmed in the current app organisation directory. For administrative enquiries, use the Secretariat through Contact. The four course titles are listed on the public Moodle homepage, checked 8 September 2026. Course content and enrolment conditions behind sign-in have not been audited.
Safeguarding information
Safeguarding contacts and guidance follow the JJEU App page updated 4 September 2026. The dedicated address is safeguarding@jjeu.eu. This website does not collect incident reports; email opens your mail application.
Document dates & applicability
Dates identify the published documents. The JJEU procedures and conflict policy are listed as 2019 publications; continued applicability and any later amendments still need confirmation. JJIF documents are identified separately from JJEU documents.
Roles & contact verification
The app’s current organisation directory confirms Dana Mortelmans as Sport Director and Anja Horak as Treasurer. It also lists Tom Ismer as Media Director and Dr. Spalovszky Csaba as an appointed Board Member. These entries take precedence in this preview over older role descriptions.
The app lists Johannes Horak for Duo and Antonella Farne for Fighting in the Athletes Commission. This resolves the commission contact route but does not establish a Board representative mandate. The older JJIF directory names Denise Krahn.
Maria Charitopoulou’s confirmed website address is maria.charitopoulou@jjeu.eu. The app spells Audrey’s surname “Jarguy”, while the earlier role source says “Yargui”; it spells Amran’s surname “Elotmona”, while earlier sources and his email use “Elotmani”. Those discrepancies remain labelled. Anja’s address follows the current app directory.

Calendar sources & date information
Public sport and federation entries are refreshed from the JJEU Google Calendar every 15 minutes while the page is open. Personal, private and unsupported recurring entries are excluded. The checked snapshot remains available if refreshing fails. Dates marked provisional need organiser confirmation. German Open competition dates follow the official outlines; accreditation begins one day earlier. Photographs illustrate Ju-Jitsu and do not document every event listed here.
Registration & eligibility
Registration and eligibility are managed by the organiser. Check the latest outlines before booking travel.
About this chronology & sources
Selected milestones from the JJEU’s 2017 activity and anniversary report and the official JJIF history. International sporting milestones are identified separately from the European organisation’s history. The sources differ on the year of the name change: this chronology follows the detailed JJEU report (1998). The 2027 entry marks the forthcoming anniversary; it does not announce an event programme. Research checked 13 September 2026.

Directory sources & verification notes
Operational contacts follow the 20 entries in the JJEU App organisation directory, inspected 8 September 2026. Two discipline representatives are listed for the Athletes Commission; this does not establish a Board mandate. Conflicting name spellings remain under review. Maria Charitopoulou’s email was confirmed for this website. Hall of Fame includes former JJEU President Herbert Frese and follows the verified JJEU website honours and award reports; unverified app-only entries are excluded. Honorary profiles do not imply an operational role. Photos come from the JJEU App and official JJEU profiles and award reports; Hall of Fame backgrounds have been edited for a uniform white presentation. Group photographs retain the people and awards from the original scene. Countries reflect federation representation. Memorial labels identify confirmed deaths; an absent label does not establish living status. Country and memorial sources.
